📚 REI (Roughly Enough Items)

Emerald Nights includes REI, a powerful recipe viewer that makes finding recipes easy:

• View Recipes: Hover over an item and press R
• View Uses: Hover over an item and press U
• Search Items: Use the search bar on the right side of your inventory
• Bookmark Items: Press A on an item to favorite it
• Toggle Cheat Mode: Press C (creative mode only)

Simply Swords - Runic Weapons

Simply Swords adds powerful runic weapons with unique abilities. Basic runic weapons are crafted at a Runic Table:

• Runic Table: Crafted with 4 Stone, 2 Iron Ingots, 1 Amethyst Shard, 1 Book
• Runic Tablets: Found in chests or crafted at the Runic Table
• Weapon Upgrade: Combine base weapon + Runic Tablet at Runic Table

Runic weapons have special attacks - hold right-click to charge powerful abilities!

Armor of the Ages

Craft powerful armor sets with unique set bonuses:

• Holy Knight Armor: Increased damage vs undead, crafted with Gold + Diamonds
• O-Yoroi Armor: Enhanced melee damage, crafted with Iron + Gold
• Centurion Armor: Movement speed bonus, crafted with Iron + Copper
• Quetzalcoatl Armor: Feather falling effect, crafted with Gold + Emeralds

Weapon Master - Special Weapons

Unique weapons with special abilities:

• Katana: Faster attack speed than swords
• Spear: Extended reach for attacking
• Heavy Axe: Deals extra damage but slower
• Throwing Knives: Ranged weapons that return

Small Ships - Boats

Craft improved boats with storage and unique features:

• Cog: Medium boat with chest storage
• Brigg: Fast boat with sail
• Galley: Large boat with multiple seats
• Dhow: Versatile trading boat

Boats require Planks, Iron Ingots, and Wool (for sails).

Rope Bridges

Create climbable rope bridges:

• Rope: Craft with 3 String in a vertical line
• Rope Bridge: Combine Rope with Planks
• Place bridges to connect areas - you can climb them!

Chipped - Block Variants

Create hundreds of block variants using workbenches:

• Carpenter's Table: For wood variants
• Mason's Table: For stone variants
• Botanist's Table: For plant/nature variants
• Glassblower's Table: For glass variants
• Carving Table: For detailed designs

Place blocks in these tables to see all available variants!

Immersive Decoration

Functional furniture and decorative items:

• Chairs: Craft with planks - actually sittable!
• Tables: Various styles available
• Lights: Lanterns, chandeliers, and more
• Storage: Barrels, crates, and decorative chests

Better Trims

Enhanced armor trim system with new patterns:

• Find new Smithing Templates in structures
• Use Amethyst, Echo Shards, and other gems
• Combine at Smithing Table: Armor + Template + Material
• Each trim provides small stat bonuses

MRU (Magic Ring Universe)

Craft magical rings with special effects:

• Ring Base: Gold Ingot + Iron Ingot
• Gem Setting: Ring Base + Any Gem
• Enchanting: Enhance rings at enchanting table
• Different gems provide different buffs (speed, strength, etc.)

Farmer's Delight Integration

Enhanced cooking and farming mechanics:

• Cooking Pot: Craft with Iron Ingots + Brick
• Cutting Board: Craft with Planks + Tool
• Stove: Combine Iron + Bricks for cooking heat source
• Create complex meals with multiple ingredients for better buffs

General Advice

• Always check REI first - It shows exact recipes and materials needed
• Look for structure loot - Many unique items can only be found, not crafted
• Experiment with variants - Many items have multiple crafting recipes
• Check for mod interactions - Some mods add recipes for items from other mods
• Use JEI bookmarks - Press A to save recipes you use often

Resource Gathering Priority

Focus on gathering these resources early for best results:

1. Iron: Needed for most tools and weapons
2. Gold: Used in many special recipes
3. Gems: Emeralds, Diamonds, Amethyst for advanced items
4. Echo Shards: Found in Ancient Cities, used for powerful items
5. Netherite: Still the best base material for armor and tools

Apotheosis Enchanting

Emerald Nights may include enhanced enchanting mechanics:

• Higher Level Enchantments: Some enchants can go beyond vanilla limits
• Gem Infusion: Add gems to enchanting table for better results
• Reforging: Change enchantments on items at Reforging Table
• Affix System: Random modifiers on equipment
